We’re looking for an ambitious Technical Sales Intern to help Thai business owners understand how better software and AI can improve their operations.
This isn’t a cold-calling-only internship. You’ll learn how real businesses work, identify problems that software can solve, shape practical solutions, and support customers from discovery through proposal and project handoff.
Work Directly With Our Cofounders
This is a rare opportunity to work closely with Stardeck’s ex-Silicon Valley cofounders and learn directly from people with experience building and commercializing advanced technology.
You won’t be separated from leadership by layers of management. You’ll join real discussions, observe how technical and commercial decisions are made, and receive direct feedback on customer discovery, solution design, sales strategy, and communication.
You’ll learn how to:
- Speak confidently with founders and business owners
- Diagnose operational problems instead of simply pitching features
- Translate customer needs into viable software solutions
- Balance customer value, technical feasibility, and commercial reality
- Sell emerging AI technology clearly and responsibly
- Help build an early-stage technology company in Thailand
Stardeck is building the future of software development for business owners. Instead of forcing companies to adapt to rigid software, we use AI to create systems around how each business actually operates.
What You’ll Do
- Join customer discovery calls with our cofounders and team
- Research customer industries, operations, and existing software
- Help identify opportunities for ERP, CRM, booking, inventory, logistics, e-commerce, internal tools, and AI
- Turn customer conversations into clear notes, workflows, and solution ideas
- Help create design previews, demonstrations, presentations, proposals, and quotations
- Follow up with prospective customers and coordinate next steps
- Work with engineers and project managers to validate scope and feasibility
- Maintain accurate customer and sales-pipeline information
- Support the handoff from sales to the delivery team
What We’re Looking For
- Strong curiosity about business, technology, and AI
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Confidence speaking with business owners and non-technical customers
- Ability to listen carefully, ask useful questions, and organize information
- Strong follow-up, time management, and deadline discipline
- Willingness to learn concepts such as workflows, databases, APIs, permissions, and integrations
- Initiative and comfort receiving direct, honest feedback
- Professional Thai and working English
- Comfortable using AI tools for research, preparation, and communication
No previous sales experience is required. We care more about curiosity, initiative, communication, and your ability to learn quickly.
Relevant Backgrounds
We welcome students and recent graduates from areas including:
- Business, marketing, entrepreneurship, or economics
- Computer science, engineering, or information technology
- UI/UX or product design
- Information systems or business analytics
- Logistics, operations, or supply-chain management
- Communication or other problem-solving disciplines
Personal projects, university work, student organizations, freelance work, and experience helping a family business all count.
You’ll Love Working With Us If You…
- Want direct exposure to experienced ex-Silicon Valley founders
- Learn quickly and actively seek responsibility and feedback
- Love understanding how different businesses work
- Enjoy solving problems for non-technical people
- Want to help business owners save time and operate more efficiently
- Find spreadsheets, LINE chats, and manual workflows interesting problems to solve
- Hate how bad most SME software in Thailand is—and want to offer something dramatically better
- Want meaningful work rather than an internship built around administrative tasks
How to Apply
Send us a short introduction and choose a Thai SME you know—such as a restaurant, parcel company, clinic, retailer, warehouse, or family business. Briefly explain:
- How the business currently operates
- One inefficient or frustrating process you noticed
- What questions you would ask the owner
- How software or AI might improve the process
- How you would explain the value to someone non-technical
Engagement: Internship, with the potential for ongoing part-time or permanent work for strong performers.
