Connect LINE

Link your LINE Official Account to your organization, set its webhook, and grant it to your apps.

Connecting a LINE Official Account lets your apps send and receive messages through it. You'll need a LINE Official Account and access to the LINE Developers Console to copy a few credentials.

Note:

Just testing? You don't need your own account yet—apps can send on a shared dev account in sandbox with no setup (50 messages/day). Connect your own before going live. See the testing comparison.

Connect your account

1

Open Integrations

In your organization dashboard, go to Settings → Integrations and expand LINE. Click Connect.

2

Copy your credentials from LINE

In the LINE Developers Console, open your account's Messaging API channel and copy:

  • Channel ID
  • Channel secret
  • Channel access token (the long-lived token)
3

Paste them into Stardeck

Enter the three values (and an optional display name) and submit. Stardeck verifies them with LINE and adds the account to your list.

4

Set the webhook URL

Copy the webhook URL shown in the dialog and paste it into your channel's Messaging API → Webhook settings in the LINE console, then enable "Use webhook." This is what lets your account receive messages. See Receiving messages.

You can connect more than one Official Account—each appears as its own connection.

Grant the connection to your apps

A connection does nothing until an app is granted access to it. Grant it to each app that should use it, and set a default. See Grant a connection to your apps.

Build features

Once a connection is granted, ask your coding agent for the feature in your app's repository, or describe it in the app's Build tab:

Send a LINE message to the customer when their booking is confirmed

The app's code sends through the default granted account unless it names another. See What you can build.

Rotate credentials

If you regenerate your channel secret or access token in the LINE console, click the rotate icon on the connection and paste the new values. Stardeck re-verifies them, and your grants and defaults are preserved. (The account must stay the same—rotating can't switch a connection to a different Official Account.)

Disconnect

Click the delete (trash) icon on a connection to remove it. Any app relying on it can no longer send or receive through that account, so re-point them to another connection if needed.
